Designed to teach the knowledge required to perform the duties of Laser Safety Officer as described in the ANSI Z136.1 Safe Use of Lasers standard. Information
on lasers and optics, applications, bioeffects, beam and non-beam hazards, hazard analysis, control measures and training on laser safety program development and administration. This course meets all
LSO training requirements outlined by ANSI, OSHA and ACGIH. Worth 4.5 ABIH CM Points, 32 CECs by AAHP and 4.5 BLS CM Points by the Board of Laser Safety.

All personnel involved with industrial, military, educational, or research applications of lasers. This course is tailored to fit the needs of safety professionals, engineers, laser operators, technicians, and other professionals assigned the duties of Laser Safety Officer or required to perform laser hazard analysis, training, or the administration of a laser safety program for their organization.What You'll Learn
Course Notes including a resource CD with color presentation slides and useful LSO documentation forms, ANSI Z136.1 Safe Use of Lasers standard, LIA Laser Safety Guide, LIA Guide for Selection of Laser Eye Protection, and a certificate of completion. Ending times will vary daily. This course ends Friday at noon. Scientific calculators will be provided.Cancellation Policy
